Model 650 Conveyors are available in lengths from 50 to 150', the lengths from 50' to 100' increase in 10' increments, over 100' in 25' increments.

CONVEYOR BELT WIDTH

The belt widths available are 24", 30" and 36".

ANGLE OF INCLINE

Variable. Minimum angle is 3^o to 4^o (depending upon length), and maximum angle is 18^o to 20^o (depending upon length). Stockpile capacities and horsepowers are based on 18^o.

CONVEYOR FRAME

MARCO Series 361 and Series 601, depending upon length.

ASSEMBLY BOLTS

Acid cleaned and plated.

UNDERSTRUCTURE

Structural design provides for Self-Supporting Understructure which is independent of Conveyor Truss. Special Heavy Duty Tail Pivot Assembly is included.

WHEELS

Single or Dual Pneumatics.

ELEVATING WINCH

Includes Single Drum Reversing Winch, Crane & Hoist Duty TEFC Motor (230-46OV), Electric Brake. All components are direct connected (eliminating Vee Belts, Roller Chains and external Couplings) to provide positive torque transmission. Brake holds Conveyor at given elevation.

SUSPENSION SYSTEM

Conveyor is connected to the Understructure through a fulcrum at the Tail Pivot Assembly and Wire Rope and Sheave Suspension (with extra reeving to minimize "line pull").

LIMIT SWITCHES

High and Low level Limit Switches are provided to prevent "vertical over-travel".

*PULLEYS

MARCO Pulleys have machined faces to ensure concentricity with the bore, and are equipped with Taper-Iock or Q.D. Bushings. Pulley faces are 4" wider than Belt.

HEAD PULLEY LAGGING

All Head Pulleys are lagged with 3 ply, Ruff Top Rubber Lagging, installed in multiple widths to ensure conformity to crowned face. Slide lagging or vulcanized lagging is available.

IDLERS

MARCO Series MI5--4 1/2"' dia. pre-lubricated Ball Bearings which require no further lubrication. Troughing Idlers are spaced on 4'-0' centers with two extra at the loading point; Return Idlers are spaced on 10'-0' centers. 35^o Idlers are standard, 45^o are optional.

*BELT TAKE-UP

80'-100' Lengths-Screw type, acid cleaned and plated, providing 21" adjustment.

125'-150' Lengths-Equipped with Gravity Take-Up with 12" dia. Bend Pulleys. 18" dia. Sliding Pulley. Gravity Take- Ups are equipped with Cage and Slide Rails and "Saddle type" Take-Up Boxes.

"Plow Type", equipped with Gum Rubber Flashing and mounted in front of Tail Pulley to prevent entrance of material between Return Belt and Pulley. The Wiper is integral with the Screw Take-Up, providing fixed relationship between Wiper and Pulley regardless of Take-Up setting. Not furnished with Self-Cleaning Pulley.

HEAD END BELT WIPER

Equipped with Double Rubber Squeegee and adjustable tension springs, providing constant pressure on Belt surface. Mounts under Head Pulley for greatest efficiency.

LOADING HOPPER

Loading Hopper is 5' long and 8" in depth, and it is equipped with adjustable Gum Rubber Flashing. A 4' Conical loading Hopper (mounted on Tail Pivot) provides liberal target for the transfer of material.

WALKWAY BEAMS

In its lowest position, Model 650 may be serviced from grade. Therefore, Walkway Beams are not required.

CONVEYOR DRIVE

Drive includes Shaft Mounted Helical Gear Speed Reducer (Gears are enclosed and running in oil), Driver and Driven Sheaves and Vee Belts. All Drive components are selected to adequately transmit horsepowers.

BACKSTOP

A Backstop is provided. Mounts in the Reducer and runs in oil.

ELECTRIC MOTOR

1800 RPM, TEFC, Nema Design "C", Hi-Torque, 3 phase, 60 cycle 230-460 volt.

POWER PROPELLING DRIVE: (OPTIONAL)

Provides wheel speed of 34 to 39 FPM (3.6 RPM). Horsepower as shown in Table "A". Drive includes TEFC Motor (230-46OV), Electric Brake (suffix "E"), or Time Delayed Electric Brake (suffix "DE"), Starting Torque Dampener, Gear Reducer, Chain Drive with Guard, and Forward-Reverse. Starter not included.

OSHA-MSHA GUARDS

Protective Pulley and Drive Guards, constructed of expanded metal, are included as standard.
