ASSEMBLY BOLTS

Acid cleaned and plated.


SUPPORTS

"A" Frames (where indicated) are of Tubular Lattice Design. Cantilever Head Support is Structural Truss type, eliminating all supporting steel within the stockpile.


PULLEYS

MARCO Pulleys have machined faces, to ensure concentricity with the bore, and are equipped with Taper-Lock or QD Bushings.


HEAD PULLEY LAGGING

All Head Pulleys are lagged with 3 ply, Rough Top Rubber Lagging, installed in multiple widths to ensure conformity to crowned face. Slide Lagging and Vulcanized lagging are optional.


IDLERS

MARCO Series M15--4 1/2"' dia. pre-lubricated Ball Bearings, which require no further field lubrication. Troughing Idlers are spaced on 4'-0' centers with two extra at the loading point; Re- turn Idlers are spaced on 10'-0"centers. 35^o Idlers are standard-45^o are optional.


BELT TAKE-UP

50' - 100' Lengths - Screw type, acid cleaned and plated, providing 21" adjustment.

125' - 175' Lengths - Equipped with Gravity Take-Up with 12" dia. Bend Pulleys and 18" dia. Sliding Pulley. Gravity Take-ups are equipped with Cage and Slide Rails.

RETURN BELT WIPER

Plow Type", equipped with Gum Rubber Flashing and mounted in front of Tail Pulley to prevent entrance of material between Return Belt and Pulley. The Wiper is integral with the Screw Take-up, providing fixed relationship between Wiper and Pulley, regardless of Take-up setting. Not furnished with Self-Cleaning Pulley.

Equipped with Double Rubber Squeegee and adjustable tension springs providing constant pressure on Belt surface. Mounted under Head Pulley for greatest efficiency.

LOADING HOPPER

Loading Hopper is 5' long and 8" in depth, and is equipped with adjustable Gum Rubber Flashing.

MOTOR SUPPORT

Integral with Shaft Mounted Reducer.

OSHA WALKWAY BEAMS, WITH TOE PLATE

Structural Channel Walkway Beams, with Vertical Handrail Supports are provided for 5'-0" spacing. Also included are two strands of 1 1/2" O.D. Galvanized Tubular Handrailing, and 4" Toe Plate - all with plated Assembly Bolts. Attachment hard- ware for top Handrail is designed for "continuous grip". Entire Walkway is designed to conform to MARCO interpretation of OSHA specifications, including requirement that "Handrail shall be able to accept a 200 lb. force in any direction".
 

WALKWAY DECKING

24" wide, non-skid Grip-Strut Steel Walkway Decking (Galvanized) is provided including Plated Assembly Bolts and Special Washers.

CONVEYOR DRIVE

Drive includes Shaft-Mounted Helical Gear Speed Reducer (Gears are enclosed and running in oil), Driver and Driven Sheaves and Vee Belts.


BACKSTOP

A Backstop is provided. Mounts in the Reducer and runs in oil.

ELECTRIC MOTOR

1800 RPM, TEFC, Nema Design "C", Hi-Torque, 3 phase, 60 cycle, 230-460 volt.

OSHA-MSHA GUARDS

Protected Pulley and Drive Guards. constructed of expanded metal, are included as standard.
