We supplied a Cyclonaire Blend System designed to pneumatically mix 75% Slag with 25% Cement as a road base stabilizing material to expand US 1 just South of Florida City.  They actually pneumatically inject the mixed material into the soil via a special mixing head that can reach a depth of 15' ft.  This approach to road stabilization is a first of its kind and it's working great.

This plant incorporates some of the latest designs by Erie Strayer. Knight Industrial furnished the plant on a total Turnkey basis including landclearing, grading, sewer, water, wells, retention ponds, office, materials handling, electrical, etc. The plant charging conveyor is 36" wide and discharges into a three cubic yard loading hopper which is lined with Argonics Kryptile liner. Trucks can be choke fed and a level detector in the hopper prevents overfilling. Production rates of 220 to 240 cubic yards per hour can easily be achieved.
